SPIRITUAL STRENGTH OF NARENDRA MODI SAW HIM THROUGH THICK AND THIN

AUM

MODI IS MAN OF THE CENTURY- AN UNPRECEDENTED PHENOMENON
                                               By Brigadier Chitranjan Sawant,VSM
Narendra Damodardas Modi is the name of the man who moved masses to bring his party – Bhartiya Janata Party to power at the Centre in Bharat. He mesmerized men and women of all castes and creed living in different regions of the country in rural and urban areas to go to the polling booths in hot sun and put the voter’s stamp on Lotus, symbol of his party. His mass appeal did magic. In many parts of the country an average voter did not know name of the candidate he was voting for but he knew that he was voting for Modi. Voting for Lotus symbol meant that the vote was being cast in favour of Narendra bhai Modi. Modi mentioned it in myriad rallies that he held across the length and breadth of India that a vote for Lotus meant a vote for Modi. The slogan did wonders never seen before in the poll history of countries across the world.

The results are there for everyone to see. The final tally of seats won for Lok Sabha stands as under:
a) Bhartiya Janata Party led National Democratic Alliance (BJP led NDA)   –   340 seats in a House of 543 seats
b) Indian National Congress led UPA (Congress led UPA)                                67 seats
c) Aam Aadami Party   (AAP)     the fledgling party of Kejariwal who lost           03 seats
d) Others which include the Trinamul Congress of West Bengal
and AIADMK  of Tamilndu                                                                        145  seats – error of two seats.

WHY MODI GELLED WITH MASSES

Masses were craving for an effective leader who would be honest, sincere, effective and lead the country to greater heights that their country had once occupied. WONDER THAT WAS INDIA – that was the supreme thought in people’s minds. The common man had got an impression etched in his mind that the Congress party under a foreigner named Sonia Gandhi had lowered the prestige of the Nation in the comity of Nations. The general perception was that the Gandhi family, a name wrongly usurped from Mahatma Gandhi, was corrupt to core and the earnings of poor people were squandered on the luxurious living of various members of the clan including a son-in-law, nicknamed Jijaji. The new entrant made surreptitious land deals and became super rich overnight.
The Government of India under a dummy Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh was remotely controlled by Sonia Gandhi herself. In a book published by an insider, Sanjay Baru clearly mentioned that it was Sonia Gandhi who cleared all important files, financial, administrative, posting and promotion of bureaucrats before they were put up before the dummy PM for putting his rubber stamp.
Many ministers of the aforesaid corrupt government were deeply involved in major corruption cases nicknamed as 2G, Coalgate, Railgate, Landgate and so on. This corruption was not hidden from the masses and they hated both the government ministers and the Congress party leaders from top to bottom.

Narendra Modi came to the public life with a refreshingly clean image. He gelled with the Poor because he himself had lived a life of poverty as a tea seller on railway platform. Modi knew where the shoe pinches. His administratively abilities were proven beyond a shadow of doubt when he ran the administration of a State named Gujarat and brought prosperity to it. He did not make money illegally unlike his Congress counterparts in other States. He tended to the needs of the common man and saw to it that there problems were not only attended to but also solved. Modi’s image as a Nationalist and a practising Hindu appealed to the Hindu masses who were ignored and neglected under the Sonia Gandhi regime. Sonia’s advisors were mostly Muslims and Christians and they rarely cared for the Hindu majority of the country.
Sonia Gandhi’s government which she remote-controlled planned to bring a bill called Prevention of Violence but it was out and out an anti-Hindu bill. It was opposed tooth and nail by the Hindu political parties and when she found no way to have it passed on the floor of the House, she planned an Ordinance to please the Muslims and Christians. However, by then an independent-minded President of India was firmly in saddle and he declined to dance to her tune.

The Congress party of Sonia Gandhi ran a policy of appeasement of Muslims by promising them reservation in education and services. It was an unconstitutional move of hers and she could not see it through. By then Muslims knew that they were being led up the garden path on the eve of elections and did not play the ball.

Muslims of Gujarat vouched for Modi as an impartial administrator and there was no discrimination on the basis of caste or creed. It carried weight with their co-religionists but not many of them voted for Modi in Varanasi. Sonia Gandhi had called Narendra Modi ” A Merchant of Death in Hindi, Maut Ka Saudagar” but it was a white lie and even Muslims of Gujarat did not digest it.

The Hindu votes were consolidated because of anti-Hindu gimmicks of Sonia Gandhi and other pseudo-secular parties. The bending backward of Congress, Samajwadi Party, BSP and others to appease Muslims went against them in the hustings. Hindus form almost 85 percent population of India but Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had made public statements many a time that the Muslims had the First Right to make use of the National Wealth. That silly statement of the dummy PM, presumably at the instigation of her Boss, did not go well with the Hindus.

The Congress party has now paid for its sins committed in public and in private. Narendra Modi’s refusal to wear a Muslim cap in a public meeting was appreciated by the Hindus all over the country. The criticism made of that incident by the pseudo-secularists further alienated the Hindu majority. Of course, the sane elements among Muslim clerics asked a pertinent question: Will a Muslim leader of a political party encourage a Hindu priest to put a TILAK on his forehead as a part of the secular philosophy? The Congress party was silent on the question and its silence was deafening.

THE FUTURE

Narendra Bhai Modi has made a wise statement that his bovernment will not adopt a policy of vendetta. His policies of growth, development will be inclusive ones. There will be no discrimination based on caste, creed, region or religion. This has gone down well with all sections of the Indian society.
May ISHWAR give strength, physical, mental and spiritual, to Narendra Modi to lead Bharat to Peace and Prosperity so that Bharat once again becomes the Golden Bird that it once was.
